SINGAPORE, 8 September 2020: Brunei Darussalam has tightened transit and entry restriction that will remain valid until further notice.

Travellers who are sponsored by the Brunei Government, a registered company or a family member, who is a Brunei citizen or resident, can visit the country if they obtain a Travel Entry Pass.

However, they will still need to apply for a visa on top of the Travel Entry Pass before departing for Brunei.

To board a flight to Brunei, travellers must have a negative Covid-19 (RT-PCR) test result taken not more than 72 hours before departing for Brunei.

They will also be required to undergo mandatory self-isolation at a government-approved hotel for two to 14 days as determined by the s Brunei’s Ministry of Health inspectors at the airport.
