BANGKOK, 6 October 2020: Abercrombie & Kent Thailand (A&K), is organizing a series of themed weekender trips, walking tours and family-friendly group getaways through October and November crafted for domestic Thailand travellers.

“These interactive trips are carefully designed to bring together like-minded travellers who want to experience the county’s hidden treasures. It is not often travellers have the chance to get behind the wheel of a tuk-tuk and drive around the mountains of northern Thailand, but with Abercrombie & Kent Thailand, they can,” says A&K Southeast Asia regional managing director Belinda Shillcock.

Limited to just small groups, the tours are led by private A&K guides and offer a chance to connect with cultural experts and destination insiders. Travellers can join a tuk-tuk convoy and rafting adventure in northern Thailand, meet a Natural Educator in the jungles of Khao Sok National Park, explore Chiang Mai’s high-quality artisan scene with a local insider, or enjoy a hands-on Indigo workshop with textiles expert and scholar, Patricia Cheesman.

In Bangkok, the company has launched new weekend walking tours going into parts of the city that are full of life and history, though rarely seen. The first few tours in the series sold out quickly, and new tours are already in the pipeline.
