SINGAPORE, 28 October 2020: Singapore and Germany have agreed on a Reciprocal Green Lane arrangement for essential business and official travel between the two countries.

Eligible applicants, who are resident in Germany or Singapore, will need to comply with Covid-19 public health measures mutually agreed on by both countries. The two countries agreed that the RGL could serve as a model for similar arrangements between Singapore and other European Union countries.
Operational details of the RGL, including the procedural requirements, health protocols, and application process, will be announced in due course the media statement explained.
Singapore has signed RGLs with various countries including Brunei, Malaysia, Japan, China and South Korea that have varying conditions on testing and stay-home or quarantine requirements. It has also agreed in principle to establish the first open travel bubble with Hong Kong for all categories of travel without the need for quarantine or stay-home requirements. The dates of the travel bubble launch with Hong Kong have yet to be announced.
Air Travel Pass
The Air Travel Pass is available in Australia (except Victoria), Brunei, New Zealand and Vietnam.
It allows short-term visitors from the countries listed to visit Singapore for leisure, business and official purposes. Visitors must have spent 14 day consecutive days in the departure country before coming to Singapore. They can visit Singapore for up to seven days.
However, border restrictions are still in place in Australia, and travellers must apply for an exemption to leave their respective country. New Zealand meanwhile advises its citizens to avoid travelling.
