TOKYO, 30 August 2021: Okura Nikko Hotel Management, a subsidiary company of Hotel Okura Co Ltd, will manage the Nikko Style Niseko Hanazono hotel when it opens in 2024.
Located in Niseko, Hokkaido, a world-famous ski resort in Japan’s northernmost main island of Hokkaido, the property is owned by Fujita Corporation.
The 234-room Nikko Style Niseko Hanazono offers a hot spring with open-air baths overlooking Mount Yotei, a club lounge, a fitness centre, and banqueting facilities in addition to restaurants and bars.

Niseko is located southwest of the city of Sapporo in Hokkaido, about two and a half hours drive from New Chitose Airport. Since 2000, Niseko has developed into a mountain resort attracting tourists worldwide, especially from Australia, thanks to its world-class powder snow. Mount Yotei, located to the east of Niseko, is a national park, and the Niseko mountain range to the north is a quasi-national park and includes Niseko Annupuri International ski area. The area also offers a variety of outdoor sports during the summer months, such as mountain climbing, trekking, canoeing, rafting, and golf.
The new property will be situated in the Niseko Hanazono resort, located in the northern part of Niseko United, a ski area that spreads out at the base of Niseko Annupuri. Being adjacent to the ski area, the hotel will offer guests easy access to winter sports opportunities as well as magnificent views of Mount Yotei.
