GEORGE TOWN, Malaysia, 16 September 2024: Marriott International opened the Penang Marriott Complex last week, marking the company’s 50th property in Malaysia.
The complex represents a significant milestone for Marriott in Malaysia. It comprises three properties: Penang Marriott Hotel, Marriott Executive Apartments, Penang, and Marriott Residences Penang.
Set along the iconic Gurney Drive in Penang, the Penang Marriott Complex is the first in Malaysia to include three brands from the Marriott Bonvoy portfolio under a single roof.
Penang Marriott Complex contributes to Marriott’s presence in Malaysia, where 20 brands within Marriott Bonvoy’s portfolio currently have a presence.
